PUDDING AND SOUSE: The colour of loyalty

WORKERS at a certain Government department are querying what has so suddenly gone wrong with the recent demeanour of one of their colleagues.

The worker has been known to be one of the die-hard supporters of the ruling Democratic Labour Party to the extent that the day-to-day colour of working clothes is either yellow or blue, and to complement the apparel the worker has been driving a blue car.

But lo and behold, since a certain popular person has announced his attention to canvass to be a candidate for the Opposition Barbados Labour Party, the worker has changed colours as well.

That Government department worker now wears red shirts and – you won’t believe this – has changed his car colour to red.

Some are saying it’s either the loyalty to a good friend or a lover.

A cuss-out of class

IT WAS A BLISTERING in cuss only heard in rum shops.

But this bout was on a public road. And the victim was a nurse – in uniform.

The woman in white has a longstanding relationship with a disorderly man who is married, so after a long day in The City, she saw his vehicle pull up next to her and stop. Thankful for the ride, she scrambled to pull the door without first looking to see who was driving.

Just as she sped towards the vehicle she had to slap in a reverse as verbal carnage hit her in her chest. It was the disorderly man’s wife behind the wheel.

Onlookers who saw the onslaught said it was a sight to behold and even the Bajan cussbird on social media would have had to take a back seat to this one.

Another outside bun

A MEDICINE MAN who has recently had his ninth child, but not from his wife, was spotted by shoppers recently with the family.

But what shocked onlookers was the fact that the tenth baby may be on the way. And, not from wifey.

You see, while he stood a distance off looking sheepish and scoping the surroundings, the outside woman, with baby in pram, was busy analysing pregnancy tests.

So intense was she that one shopper was able to check the brand over her shoulder and in real time call P&S without her knowledge.

Since the ninth child almost gave his wife a heart attack, friends fear if this is a positive test that she may not be able to live through this one. Oh, and he was wearing his usual flip-flops on his feet.

Forbidden lust

THERE IS A SAYING that cousins make dozens. Well, some family members in the North seem intent on making this a reality.

Residents say that it’s a love affair between two cousins, and they seem in it for the long haul.

But more sick than the affair are expletives used during “prostration” which usually takes place in an abandoned house in the area.

These two, male and female, have the gall to refer to each other as “cuz” during their episodes of unwholesomeness.

Peeping Toms, who had a look-in on one of the escapades, cried shame on the disgusting couple and have since threatened to expose them unless it is brought to an end.

But based on the depraved nature of the two, this seems highly unlikely.
