ALISHA BARNETT reigned supreme landing a clean sweep at The Bridgetown show on Saturday night at Combermere School.
The 17-year old Barbados Community College student’s body was a lean machine and along with her confidence and poise she captivated the judges to take titles of Junior Bikini Fitness, Senior Bikini Fitness Short Class and Ms Bikini Overall.
“The win was great. It was actually surprising because only few weeks ago my trainer Joe Bourne and I decided that we will try for the Senior Bikini Fitness and only this week we decided that I would take up the challenge,” Barnett told NATION SPORT.
She revealed that she first started training after The Bridgetown show last year since her cousin Shaquille Lavine, who was also a bodybuilder introduced her to his coach which resulted in her entering the Michael Riley Classic last December.
