Man with gun held outside court

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED a man who attempted to carry a loaded firearm onto the District A Magistrates Court Complex at Coleridge Street, St Michael.

The man, whose identity has been withheld while investigations continue, was stopped and questioned by a government security guard on Thursday at the main gate of the compound.

A struggle followed, he was detained and searched and the firearm was discovered. (PR/SAT)
