A NUMBER OF Barbados Light & Power customers along the Spring Garden Highway, Black Rock and Brighton are without electricity this afternoon.

Just before noon a large tree fell, breaking a utility pole along the Highway.

BL&P said a number of crews were working to replace the broken pole and the transmission wires in order to restore service.

The Company apologised for the inconvenience and said it would continue its efforts to provide an efficient and reliable service to Barbados. (PR/NB)
