ROAD TENNIS is grabbing the attention of people across the globe.

Head of the Professional Road Tennis Association, Dale Clarke, told NATIONSPORT the association recently developed a partnership with Germany after they observed a number of videos on social media.

“We received correspondence from a German television company and they expressed interest in road tennis. They said they saw some clips on the Facebook page and were interested in sharing the sport with Germans.”

He said the association had already sent equipment and the rules of the game to the country and hoped to travel there later this month to showcase the sport.

Videos have also been circulating throughout Europe and there is currently “a thriving programme there”.
