SOME 6 333 PEOPLE who currently receive old age non-contributory pensions are in line to receive an increase.
Effective October 1, they will receive $40 per month more, a decision that will likely cost the Treasury an additional $3.2 million a year, said Finance Minister Chris Sinckler, in making the announcement.

The minister said this would keep those pensions more in line with inflation. (WILLCOMM)
