SOME RESIDENTS OF Bathsheba, St Joseph, are up in arms over the erection of a fence they say will block vehicular access to their homes.
And one of their biggest fears is that if an emergency occurs, an ambulance or fire truck will not be able to get to their homes.
According to residents, the fence which surrounds a currently unoccupied house is being extended to block the pathway they have been using for their entire lives.
However, owner of the land, Sean Defreitas, has contended this is not true. In fact, he told the WEEKEND NATION that the heavy vehicles travelling through the pathway had damaged his property, including part of a fence and a well. (RB)
