Thousands of Barbadians across the island found themselves with dry taps yesterday.
And even as the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) worked steadily to rectify the issue, for some that water outage could continue for some time.
From early yesterday morning, the BWA’s Rapid Response Unit was called into action, servicing communities in portions of St James, St Andrew, St Thomas, St Michael and Christ Church.
They were providing much needed relief for those who experienced dry taps as several BWA pumping stations reeled from the knock-on effects of a Barbados Light & Power (BL&P) electrical outage on Saturday. (AD)
