Add ‘product space’ to innovation

AMID THE CALLS for more entrepreneurs, there is a need “to start thinking differently about” the products and services produced in Barbados.

Furthermore, Senator Crystal Drakes said that entrepreneurs “needed to be able to explore new opportunities in a way that is effective for business” which could only be done in an environment that facilitated it.

Drakes, of the People’s Party For Democracy and Development (PdP), speaking on the Economic Partnership Agreement Bill, 2019 in the Senate yesterday, said that while there was “a lot of rhetoric sometimes about we should open a business, start up a business” as it is “one of the ways in which we can drive economic growth”, a “part of that conversation is usually missing” – one that related to “product space”.(GBM)
