Although the decomposing body of a female which was found near the Mangrove landfill in St Thomas is yet to be identified, police public relations officer, acting station sergeant Rodney Inniss, says they have reason to believe it is connected to the case of missing woman Samara Bristol.

Investigations into her disappearance led them to the location around 11:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Bristol, 30, who holds both Barbadian and American citizenship, was staying at a house in Airy Cot.  She was reported missing on Tuesday.
