Fatal twist

SIXTY-SEVEN-year-old Lester Dash of 3rd Avenue Parris Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael was a troubled man who made several attempts to take his own life.

Efforts by his friend Edwin Walters to prevent him from doing so proved futile, however.

And it was early yesterday morning that Walters’ fears became a horrible reality. He discovered Dash’s body in the home they shared, with a neck-tie around his throat.

“This is something that he was planning eversince. I stopped him many times but it appears to me that when I went out last night, he would have had to get up . . . and do that to himself,” said Walters.
