New Orleans injuries ‘not life-threatening’

AS INVESTIGATIONS CONTINUE into last night’s shooting incident at 7th Avenue New Orleans, St Michael, police say none of the injuries were life-threatening.

According to reports, a number of armed men entered the community around 9:30 p.m. and started shooting.  Two men and a woman received gunshot injuries.

Police say the man who was in the most serious condition underwent surgery and is now in a stable condition.

Four houses and two cars were also damaged. (PR/NB)
