THE MURDER on Tuesday of Lamar Devere Carter could have been the result of a plan that had been in the making for some time.

According to sources close to the investigation, the bizarre circumstances also pointed  to a soured relationship involving Carter, who was 22 and lived at Spring Farm, St Thomas.

Yesterday, hours after nabbing a male St James suspect who was trying to leave the island through the Grantley Adams International Airport, investigators also arrested a St Michael woman for questioning about Carter’s death.

The latest development follows the discovery of Carter’s body in the rear of a vehicle at Mangrove Road, St Thomas in the early hours of Tuesday following a car chase by police. (TS)
