VISITORS ARE BEING DRAWN INTO THE MIDDLE of the war of words between jet ski operators based at Brownes Beach, Bay Street, St Michael, and the owner of The Boatyard, with one operator predicting the situation could possibly escalate and “get real ugly”.
Yesterday, Mexican visitor Pedro Garcia, who visited The Boatyard with four friends, said he was put out of the restaurant and bar after he forgot and took a ride on a jet ski.
“We got a recommendation to go to this place (The Boatyard). We went there and we paid and this guy, he showed up and he said, ‘No swimming with turtles, no jet skis, no nothing’ and then we completely forgot about it,” he admitted.
