American reality TV star Amber Rose created a stir in The City yesterday.
Rose, former girlfriend of international musician Kanye West, is here for a week on a “working vacation” to do some promotion work with Bajan choreographer and musical producer Trevor Pretty of Love Life & Happy Endings.
The host and creator of the new VH1 reality show Behind The Shades stopped regularly to take pictures and sign autographs for the many who recognized her straight away with her short blonde do.
She said she had already soaked up the warm Barbadian sun by hitting the beach last Friday, and was looking forward to jet-skiing, going on a catamaran and taking a tour around the island.
Describing her first visit to Barbados as “welcoming”, Rose said she loved the taste of sno-cones, which she sampled from a vendor on Swan Street, and the macaroni pie and baked chicken from Weiser’s On The Bay on Brandons Beach.
