DEACONS’ volleyball women are still in cruise control.
The knockout queens, sponsored by Flow Sentry Brokers, continued their unbeaten run by dismissing RBC Carlton 25-8, 25-16, 25-20 at the Wildey Gymnasium last night.
Left handers Kandia Shorey and Abeje Carrington enjoyed extended runs on court against the inconsistent Carlton who fell in straight sets.
An equally inconsistent Chargers struggled in their first set before defeating the weak Toners, 26-24, 25-18, 25-13. (KB)
