LOCKED OUT. Thousands of tourists settled for window shopping yesterday in The City.
Major stores and restaurants in Bridgetown were closed as the country marked Errol Barrow Day in celebration of the legacy of its first Prime Minister Errol Walton Barrow.
The visitors from aboard the cruise liners Horizon and Costa Mediterranea ended up walking the streets of Bridgetown taking in the quaint architecture of some of the closed buildings.
Last month during the Christmas season, taxi drivers complained of The City being a ghost town when thousands of tourists came a-calling on the two bank holidays.
