The warm weather over the past weeks created opportunities for wayside vendors to make an extra dollar.
Recently, Barbadians were feeling the heat under their collars and some vendors seized the opportunity to push more sales while some job opportunities were created for others.
Earl St Hill has been selling natural juices in Swan Street and Tudor Street, The City, for over 17 years and his experience has taught him to use the issues of the day in his sales pitch. He told the Saturday Sun that he encourages people to buy his juices to cool down.
“People are complaining about how hot outside is and are buying more natural drinks and more water,” he said. (SB)
