SIRIUS BLACK spearheads five of this country’s leading creoles in today’s feature Harmony General Insurance Breeders’ Sprint in memory of Francis Cozier at the Garrison Savannah.

Sirius Black, winner of the Tanglewood Stakes earlier in the year, controls the inside rails and is expected to get the better of his opponents in the 1 100 metres race, scheduled for 4 p.m. His main challenge should come from Lavani and the speedy Markos.

There are also seven other interesting races on the Barbados Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association Raceday card, starting at 2 p.m.

In the opener, five juveniles will have their first track experience over 1 000 metres in the Kingdora Allotted Weights Race against the experienced Amber Rose and favourite Fleurette.
