THE KING of swing has his aim set on even more success.
Barbados’ top-ranked pro Darian King definitely isn’t resting on his laurels, having said his best is yet to come as he’s targeting an Olympic Games medal in Rio.
“I’m definitely looking for a medal at the Olympics. You just never know as tennis is a funny sport because it’s played on the day and no matter who you play it depends on how you come out and how you prepare for it, and I’m definitely going to prepare for it,” said the 24-year-old Bajan ace.
“The Olympics are a big deal and that’s what I like because you play sports to show up on the big stage. And I think there’s more success to come because I keep in the back of my mind hard work and dedication and determination will get you very far, and that’s what I live on.” (JM)
