AN APPETISER, entrée, and desert bundled together in one.
That was how one could sum up the final of the year-long community outreach variety concert series hosted by the Royal Barbados Police Force Band (RBF).
With the historic St George Parish Church as the backdrop on Friday night, people of all ages blanketed the Glebe Playing Field, St George, to take in the immense talent presented.
Some sat in their chairs; others stood and conversed with friends, while children frolicked, making new friendships as they were treated to old but goldies from the 1970s to present.
The world-renowned RBPF’s concert band opened the show promptly at 7 p.m. and as the crowd grew steadily, they displayed great musicianship through reggae, spouge, rock and roll as well as rhythm and blues. (SDB Media)
