Sri Lanka 250 for 2 in first Test

GALLE – Sri Lanka reached 250 for two at the close of play on the first day of the first Test match against West Indies.

Opener Dimuth Karunaratne is unbeaten on 135 and Dinesh Chandimal is on 72 not out.

Karushal Silva (17) fell to Kemar Roach in the first session, caught by wicketkeeper Dinesh Ramdin.

Lahiru Thirimanne was caught by substitute fielder Ravindra Chandrika for 16 off the bowling of Devendra Bishoo.
