BRIDGETOWN IS IN URGENTĀ NEEDĀ of improved lighting to help fight the spate of crime affecting the area.

That assertion has been made by Member of Parliament for The City Jeffrey Bostic as he called for action to tackle what he described as a worsening safety and security issue in Bridgetown and its environs.

He said some streets were poorly lit, while in others no street lights existed.

ā€œIt is absolutely necessary now for some action to be taken in order to brighten up areas like Tudor Street, Swan Street, Mason Hall Street and Baxters Road,ā€ he told theĀ DAILY NATIONĀ yesterday. (WILLCOMM)
