No to PSVs

There will be no increase in bus fares or any duty-free concessions for public service vehicle (PSV) operators.

And the strike action planned for today has been called off.

These were among the decisions made when Minister of Transport and Works Michael Lashley and the Transport Authority held a closed-door meeting with members of the Association of Public Transport Operators (APTO) and other representatives last Friday.

The meeting, which lasted just over five hours, was used by PSV representatives as a platform to have their grievances heard.
