24-year-old shot and killed

Police are carrying out investigations into the island’s 26th murder.

Dead is 24-year-old Ashantio Blackman of Belair, St Philip.

Around 8:25 last night, police responded to reports of gun shots being heard and a “man down” at the same address.

They discovered Blackman’s body lying facedown in a pool of blood. He was wearing a black long sleeved shirt and a pair of 3/4 black pants. 

A white car with multiple holes was taken into police custody.
