Damian Etienne, stage name Hypasounds is going after the double at Soca Royale this weekend.
For him, this is all about the fans, who have shown their loyalty from the time he was a DJ back in 1999.
“The fans have been kicking it for me from day one. When things weren’t going right, when I wasn’t in the competition the fans would open their mouths and speak proudly. They speak as if they are part of Hypasounds; almost like they own Hypasounds. Every single fan big up ya self even if you were a fan from an hour ago . . . ,” the entertainer said with a burst of energy while laughing uncontrollably.
