THE ROYAL Barbados Police Force will have its own three Ws memorialised.
Jasper “The Colonel” Watson, the retired senior superintendent who was buried yesterday, will have his name inscribed along with Merlon Watts and Sylvester Williams on a building to be named The Three Ws Detective School at the Regional Police Training School.
This was announced yesterday by commandant at the training school, Sylvester Louis, when he paid tribute to Watson, regarded as one of the force’s best ever detectives, at a funeral service at the Western Light Church of the Nazarene.
Watson died on July 10 at the age of 80. (MB)
