Tournament director Hamilton Lashley said former players Wes Hall, Deryck Murray and Larry Gomes, along with renowned commentator Tony Cozier, would be given tributes for their roles in the advancement of regionalism.
“If you examine the cricketing exploits of Wes Hall, you would know that he played a lot of his formative years for Trinidad and Barbados, particularly during the colonial era and this was unique,” said Lashley, during yesterday’s Press launch at McEnearny Quality Inc (MQI).
Both Hall and Gomes are expected to collect their tributes while representatives for Cozier and Murray will be at the ceremony in their absence.
