What?appears to be a tunnel was rediscovered yesterday at Country Road, St Michael.
Hazel Barnes, (pointing to the opening of the tunnel), has lived on the property since 1981 and always knew that a cave was near to her home. But she was shocked to see how close when it was exposed during excavation by workmen attached to the Ministry of Housing who were installing sewerage pipes on her property.
The tunnel apparently leads to nearby Country Road, Whitepark Road and Bank Hall, St Michael.
