DAVE CAMERON has been re-elected as president of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB).

The under-fire Jamaican defeated Barbados Cricket Association president Joel Garner 8-4 at the WICB’s annual general meeting in Jamaica today.

Vice-president Emmanuel Nanthan was also re-elected, prevailing by a similar margin in a poll against Baldath Mahabir of Trinidad and Tobago.

There was tremendous anticipation ahead of the election amidst criticism levelled at Cameron following the abandonment of a tour to India last October. (HG)
