Children enjoy treat at Hilton

AROUND 60 CHILDREN were able to frolic and have some fun at the Hilton Barbados yesterday, thanks to the generosity of small businesswoman Sharon Bellamy.

The children, drawn from a cross section of society, enjoyed the pool, played a variety of games and feasted on an array of food and snacks.

United States Ambassador to Barbados Larry Palmer was one of the special guests who turned up to spend some time with the children, who were absolutely delighted to have this grandfather figure so keenly interacting with them.

   This outreach effort by Bellamy, a popular vendor in the Bridgetown Fisheries Complex, has now become part of her outreach and giving back to society. She has been able to undertake the effort with the help of a number of contributors and volunteers.
