Drink to that!

THE DRINKS WERE being passed long before Asher Dynamo Murrell got his hands on his trophy.

He was sipping all season, but was forced to take liberal shots of a particular brew several days before  the big showdown at the Scotiabank Junior Calypso Monarch Finals  last Saturday night.

The lemonade he sings about was switched out for hot lemon and ginger to soothe and heal the sore throat, which hit him from grand rehearsals last Thursday. Garlic and honey were added to the mix when he got to the Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex to ensure he was  in good voice.
