TWO REPRESENTATIVES of the Barbados National Youth Parliament came away with two of the three top awards at the just concluded 10th Regional Youth Parliament in the British Virgin Islands.
Roshanna Trim, who participated as part of the “government” side, emerged as the best Youth Parliamentarian Overall, while the second representative on the three-member Barbados team, Joane Bovell, copped the award for the Best Orator, appearing on the side of the “opposition”. The other member of the team was Ade Oneal.
The Regional Youth Parliament formed part of the 39th conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association of the Caribbean, Americas and Atlantic region.
