THERE WILL be no letting up and local football clubs without a licence won’t be allowed to kick a ball next year.

That is the warning coming from the Barbados Football Association (BFA) to its members ahead of the 2016 season.

The football fraternity and the public would have heard this announcement earlier this year through a story in the NATION, and last Saturday at the Wildey Gymnasium, the BFA reinforced the seriousness of its intent with a FIFA/CONCACAF workshop for club licensing.

BFA president Randy Harris said he was quite pleased that the majority of the clubs were represented at the workshop as it displayed the commitment and professional direction of the clubs. (ROG)
