FORMER Barbados tennis player Duane Williams has signed a contract as the new head coach of the Prairie View A&M University tennis teams which compete in the South Western Athletic Conference in the United States.

Williams is no stranger to Prairie View A&M, having served as an assistant coach for the Panthers and Lady Panthers from 2009 to 2013.

Prior to joining Prairie View A&M, he was the head coach at the Masters International Tennis Academy in Woodlands, Texas.

“I am excited to be back here,” Williams said. “I enjoyed my time here as an assistant coach, and I hope to continue to lead the tennis teams in the upward direction we are headed.”
