WHEN GUNSHOTS claimed the life of Llamar James last year, deep emotional wounds also scarred his loved ones.
The traumatic incident that occurred on February 25 still haunts his girlfriend of nine years, Shaneka Clarke and their children.
The SUNDAY SUN met the 26-year-old on Thursday at Restoration Ministries in Brittons Hill, where she will receive counselling.
Clarke, like other grieving Barbadian families, are left questioning whether murder victims get justice.
A sob punctuated almost every word Clarke uttered as she recalled hearing gunshots at a one-year-old’s party in the neighbouring street.
“What they did was foolishness, not just what they did to Llamar, but because it was at a children’s party,” she said. (LT)
