WHILE THE TWO major political parties lock horns over the Warrens Traffic Improvement Project, the mall complex in Welches continues to thrive.
The Walk, situated in Welches, St Thomas, is growing ever larger since its opening in late 2013. As its growth will undoubtedly increase traffic, it is more important than ever that a tangible plan be put into place.
The road leading up to The Walk needs work, the Opposition has pointed out, but Government is seeking an additional $17 million to ensure all problems are smoothed over along the entire area, including Green Hill, Redman’s Village and Bagatelle.
With this in mind, the WEEKEND NATION visited The Walk and spoke to patrons and business owners about the experience. (CA)
