Antoinette Downie is heading to the United States tomorrow morning with one mission in mind: to crack the top ten of this weekend’s New York Pro contest in New Jersey.
The International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) women’s physique pro is excited at the chance to make a further impact on the pro scene after an impressive 2015 season in which she cracked the top four twice.
Downie told the DAILY NATION that she is not as huge as she was last year but that may be a blessing in disguise.
“I am in shape and that is important. I am not as big as last season but that may be a blessing in disguise as I was penalised in Toronto last year for being too big,” she said. (MK)
