Vybz to be questioned by police

Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel is expected to be interviewed by the police later this evening. This, as the police widen their investigation into the activities of the artiste. Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Branch, Ealan Powell says Kartel whose real name is Adidjah Palmer and who is charged with illegal possession of marijuana will undergo intensive questioning. Up to news time, there was still no word as to whether the interview session had begun. The police say they are investigating whether Kartel should also be linked to a murder investigation.
