‘Mentor our boys’

PRESIDENT of the Men’s Educational Support Association (MESA), Grantley Osbourne, has sent out an SOS to Barbadian men to join in the fight to save Barbados’ young men.

The MESA head has appealed to men to work with boys to get them off the blocks and to steer them away from prison, and to do their part to halt the slide of Barbadian young men into lives of deviance.

In addition, he has called on the Ministry of Education to place more male teachers in Barbados’ schools, claiming boys are suffering from the absence of male mentors in the classroom.
