Are you where you’ve always wanted to be?
Not quite yet. I aspire to some day represent the interests of my community in the House of Assembly.
What is your biggest professional challenge?
Elevating the public profile of Nicholls Baking Company Inc. and making our bread the bread of choice in all Bajan households and businesses.
What is your biggest life challenge?
Raising my son to be a man of God and a light in our community by avoiding negative influences and staying true to the values and principles taught to him by his parents and extended family.
When you look to the future, what do you see?
I see a Barbados once again punching above its weight, with a vibrant economy, admirable social services, a revamped educational system, and a strong society grounded in sound and proven values and norms.
What is your favourite pastime?
Spending quality time with my family and interacting with others in my community.
What is your favourite meal?
Lasagne.
On Saturday nights where are you likely to be?
At home with my family.
What upsets you the most?
At the moment, the increasing lawlessness which seems to be creeping into our society.
What is your guiding philosophy?
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
If you had the chance to manage Barbados for a day, what would you do?
Immediately reform our educational system, bringing it into the 21st century through the use of technology, and reinforce the values and norms which served our society so very well in the past.
