The Royal Barbados Police Force is predicting major reductions in illegal and unwholesome activity in The City before mid-September.
In a Press briefing yesterday at Central Police Station, Acting Assistant Superintendent Anderson Bowen stated that Operation Recapture Bridgetown was now in full effect.
The operation, which started at 7 a.m. yesterday, saw two people being arrested and is set to continue this morning, one of the busiest shopping days for The City.
Bowen said the operation would continue until Bridgetown was safe and clean, and assured the public of swift changes. (CA)
