SEEMS STATION HILL have finally solved the Clapham conundrum.
Jason Smith hit two treys before Joel Hunte scored a crucial put-back inside the final minute, as the young Cavs finally beat Burger King Clapham Bulls via Tuesday’s 59-55 victory in the Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League at the Wildey Gymnasium.
It was the first time in almost two years the newly-crowned knockout champs got the better of those Clapham counterparts, who swept both regular season contests just a season ago.
And they very nearly won a third, having led by nine (31-22) at one stage before clinging to a late 47-41 following baskets from Selwyn Brooks and Kodia Leacock.
