THIS year marks 20 years Keith Boyce has passed on. It also marks the tenth anniversary of the competition held in his name in which prize money has been tripled for the winners.

The tenth Keith Boyce Memorial 35-Over-A-Side Tournament will start on February 28 and this year the champion team will collect $3 000, an improvement over the $1 000 the winners received last year.

At a press briefing yesterday morning at Cricket Legends of Barbados on Fontabelle, chairman of the Keith Boyce Memorial committee, Lybron Sobers, said he was delighted that Lee’s Bistro Restaurant was sponsoring the competition for the second straight year.

The losing finalists will take away $1 500 while the losing semi-finalists will each collect $750.
